Tegnap elfelejtettem a poént. Ha az amerikaiak próbálkoznának olyasmivel, mint a filmbéli nácik, nagy bajban lenne a világ.

Reign of Dumbness
Megint megpróbáltuk mindketten.
Hasonló eredménnyel, mint korábban. Vagy még rosszabb volt? Ja.
Eccerűen nem bírtam végig. Az én hibám...
Ja, ez nem olyan aktus volt, amire gondolsz, kis hamis!
Vót megint egy SciFi Channel premier. Részükről ezúttal az vót a próbálkozás címe: Reign of the gargoyles, vagyis nagyjából A gargoliták uralma. Valójában, az alkalmazott technika alapján jobban kiérdemelné A vízköpők uralma címet.
Részemről akkor adtam fel, amikor feltűntek a Fransz Rezisztansz tagjai, élükön a svájcisapkás nővel... És bevallom az elejét se láttam, mert jó érzékkel véletlenül kapcsoltam oda... Kb öt percig bírtam.
Szóval, ez a film valami olyasmiről akar szólni, hogy a cúnya, cúnya náci bácik feléleszteteték a vízköpőket és légvédelmi célokra használták azokat a bombázók ellen. És persze nem tudták ellenőrzésük alatt tartani őket. Mivel a náci bácikat nem láttam, fogalmam sincs vajon itt is fals német akcentussal beszéltek-e a nácik, amikor maguk között voltak, mint az SS-Doomtrooper-ban, vagy nem.
Azért hoztam fel azt a másik katasztrófát, mert aszerint amit láttam belőle a két film annyira egy kaptafára készült, mintha a forgatókönyv World változatában egy globális cserét hajtottak volna végre. Doomtroopert cseréld Gargolitára...
Pedig egészen más stáb: Ayton Davis második filmes rendező (Boa vs. Python) és egy negyedik könyves forgatókönyvíró, Chase Parker (Basilisk: The Serpent King, Path of Destruction, Boa vs. Python) határozta meg a rendkívül alacsony költségvetésű produkciót. Mert színészi teljesítményről felesleges beszélni. (A Basilisk-hez és a Boa vs. Pythonhoz volt szerencsém: nem érik meg az az energiát, amit a távkapcsoló csatornaváltójának megfogása jelent.)

Just a SciFi Channel premier happened again. The title of their attempt was this time: Reign of the gargoyles. In the reality, according to the applied technology and the resulting effects, it should be rather entitled as Reign of the Waterspouts.
My attempt was over when the the folk of the France Resistance leaded by the GIRL IN BARRET appeared on the screen... And I admit I missed the first fifteen minutes 'cause I just accidentally clicked myself there... And I endure it for approximately five whole minutes.
Well, this movie is about the dirty, dirty Nazis who reanimated the gargoyles to apply them against the allied bombers. Of course they were unable to control them. Like the creators of the movie were unable to control their own monster.
Since I've never seen the dirty, dirty Nazis, I dunno they spoke with fake German accent like the Nazis spoke in the SS-Doomtrooper.
I just mention that other disastrous motion picture `cause the two movies are so similar as if a global replace command was accomplished in the MS World version of the script. Replace doomtrooper to gargoyle...
An entirely different staff, Ayton Davis director on his second movie (first was: Boa vs. Python) and a veteran screenwriter with his fourth book, Chase Parker (Basilisk: The Serpent King, Path of Destruction, Boa vs. Python), determined this very, very low budget production. Speaking about acting is entirely vain. (I was so lucky to watch the Basilisk and the Boa vs. Python: they worth no that energy what is necessary to reach the remote.)

The Shining
Nézem a Ragyogást (a SciFi Channel kínjában műsorra tűzte), és n-edszer rácsodálkozom, mekora tehetség is volt Kubrick: képes volt egy olyan irodalmi anyagból, egy olyan kaliberű színésszel, mint Nicholson, ekkora határ szart csinálni.
És mindez csatorna idióta cenzúrájával súlyosbítva.
I'm watching The Shining movie (the SciFi Channel somehow took it on today) and I admire Kubrick's talent for the umpteenth occasion: from that great literary material with such a genius as Nicholson he was able to produce a huge pile of dunk.
And of course all of that crap is burdened with the illogical idiotic censorship of the channel.

Tired Serpent
Ma másodszor futottam neki egy újabb SciFi originalnak, a Fire Serpentnek. Linket nem adok, mert nem éri meg.
Először a premier estéjén, a bevezető képsoroknál akadtam el, amikor a Napból jövet a tűzkígyó akkora kormos csíkot húzott maga után, mint egy puskaporos rakéta.
Ma tovább jutottam: öt perccel.
Ez a film egyszerűen nézhetetlen.
És nem így.
Viszont ma este láttam valamit, amely méltó párja a Bíborszínnek.
Beloved a címe, és gyanítom, hogy Magyarországra nem jutott el. Ezt nézve el kell gondolkodni azon, hogy vajon milyen jogon is szidjuk és szarházzuk az amerikai filmgyártást - a hazai filmforgalmazást kellene szidni és szarházni, hogy csak a fekáliából merít.
Danny Glovert ugyebár jobbára a Halálos fegyver szériából, meg a Predátor II-ből ismerjük. Holott az előbb említett filmeken kívül mondjuk egy olyan harmadik, és Magyarországra valószínűleg szintén el nem jutó remekműben is főszerepel, mint a Missing in Amerika. És hogy egy kicsit hazabeszéljek, jövőre jön ki egy animációs sci-fi, TERRA címmel, melyhez a hangját kölcsönzi. De ezt nehogy komolyan vedd ám!
És akkor még itt van a Kung Fu Hustle, amely egészen másképpen fantasztikus.
Tonight I started to struggle with the newest SciFi original, Fire Serpent - the second time. I won't give a link - it doesn't worth a shit.
My first trial happened at its premier night. I halted at the intro sequence, when the Fire Serpent, coming from the Sun and approaching the Earth, leaved such a big smoky trail like a cheap firework rocket.
Today I made a progress. Five minutes ahead.
This movie is simply unwatchable.
And not in this way.
So even there is the Kung Fu Hustle which also frenetic - in another way.

Grave new world
Bekukkantok a SciFi Channelre (egyik tetves low budget horror a másik után) és nem hiszek a szememnek. OK, kicenzúrázzák a másodlagos nemi jegyeket. OK, kicenzúrázzák a feltartott közéspső ujjat. De most, ember! Kicenzúrázták a cigarettát, amikor az emberek szájába került. Kézből nem, csak a szívás momentuma cenzúrázandó...
I peeked to the SciFi Channel (low budget horrors in a seemingly infinite line) and couldn't believe my eyes. Genitals - censored. OK. A middle finger pointed - censored. OK. But now, man! Now, the burning cigarettes are censored from the characters' mouth. A cigarette in hand is apparently not belongs to censors turf, just the very act...
